WHAT IS A POSTER SESSION?
“It was as if I opened a treasure-chest of ideas. I had heard of posters sessions, but was not exactly sure of what they were. It’s a chance to see a really interesting project mapped out visually, plus have a chance to talk to the creator.” poster sessions can be on a wide variety of topics, such as:

• a description of an innoavative library program
or a successful curriculum collaboration
• analysis of a practical problem-solving effort
• a display of a successful event, activity, etc.
• a marketing campaign
• research project results.

Pictures, data, graphs, diagrams and narrative text are placed on 8’ x 4’ boards at the site. In an assigned 45-minute time period, participants discuss their display informally with delegates.
