Alphabet books aid young readers in language acquisition and beginning reading fundamentals. Successful alphabet books allow early readers to move from the abstract world of letter symbols to comprehension of concrete objects such as airplanes, baseballs, and cookies. ABC books help the youngest readers make sense of their world. Jan and Heather will show you how to use Sleeping Bear’s provincial titles as springboards for many curriculum activities.
