This precedent setting symposium is OLBA's call to action for public library boards and chief
executive officers to explore their leadership potential and commit to increasing leadership
capacity by 2010.
"Library Leadership by Design" is a six-part all-encompassing board development program that
is accessible, affordable and absolutely relevant to the needs of library boards and CEOs wherever
you live and work in Ontario.
To expand its leadership capacity, each board will need to:

- Increase its understanding of its governance responsibilities
- Secure a healthy working partnership with its CEO
- Advance innovative and strong community leadership
