HOW TO REGISTER:

  • IN ADVANCE: ON-LINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED.
    All registration is on site starting on Wednesday morning.

THE FEES...

All conference fees are subject to 7% Goods and Services Tax. The Association reserves the right not to process a registration until payment is received by cheque or credit card. Reduced earlybird fees are offered to spread the workload of the conference and extensions to individuals are not given. Post-dated cheques do not satisfy the earlybird requirements. Membership must be current at the time of the conference for preferred member's rates.

FULL CONFERENCE provides

  • All plenary and workshop sessions in fourteen distinct time slots.
  • Unlimited entrance privileges to EXPO 2006, Canada's largest library tradeshow.
  • An updated 100 page official Super Conference program
  • The Super Conference 2006 souvenir bag
  • Social events including the Wednesday opening party, the Thursday afternoon reception at EXPO, all award receptions, the Friday night all-conference reception and the Saturday gala closing luncheon.
SINGLE AND MULTIPLE DAY PACKAGES provide those privileges appropriate to the days chosen. Although there should not be a shortage of bags, if one occurs, priority will be given to full conference registrants.

After November 30th, add $35 administrative fee. A further $35 administrative fee will be levied after January 30th.

These rates apply at any time. No charge for Thursday, Friday or 'full conference' registrants.

All fees are subject to the goods and services tax (GST).

FRIENDS OF CANADIAN LIBRARIES DAY, Saturday, February 4th, $40. for members of Friends groups who do not work in libraries. $20 per day on other days.

Your Super Conference registration fee covers most events except:

    A half-day pre-conference workshop, $25. Non-member, $30.

       •Visual Organizers
    Go to the Education Institute course calendar (February) for direction to descriptions, fees and on-line registration for these Wednesday pre-conference sessions.
  • Public Library Awards Dinner
    Thursday, $47; $55 after Nov. 30; $60 on-site if available.
  • Gala Closing Luncheon Saturday.
    This is included in your registration subject to the coupon you receive in your materials being exchanged for a ticket. Entrance is by ticket only. Extra tickets may be purchased for $45 ($55 after Nov. 30; $60 on-site if available).

GUESTS

Administrators outside libraries, politicians not on library boards, Award winners, and other designated leaders are the guests of Ontario Library Association members at Super Conference each year. Thousands over the years have been impressed with the breadth and depth of the conference and of our work. When you register a guest, please help us by registering him or her using the on-line registration form and choosing the Guest category. According to the terms set up by the OLA Board of Directors, a member must host the guest during his or her conference experience.
No charge.

Avoid the lines! Register before December 31st and your badge and tickets will be mailed to you. You can then use an Express Desk at any of the above hours.

Canada's largest library tradeshow may be attended on its own or as part of the regular conference registration. Thursday afternoon's reception in the exhibit is sponsored by Edu Reference.
