Last year's OLA conference saw the launch of the Ontario Cultural Pavilion, a showcase of some of the best books, magazines, and music produced here in our province. The pavilion provided a space where convention delegates could come to discover a magazine, meet a favourite author or listen to a new album of songs. Close to 100 publishers and producers showcased their products and delegates were able to browse over a huge array of materials. This year's pavilion promises to be even better and packed full of great books, magazines and music - a must-visit conference destination to put Ontario authors and musicians onto Ontario library shelves.

Here are true accounts of emotional attachments formed in and with libraries and the library field. Madeleine J. Lefebvre will be reading some Ontario specific romance stories from her fabulous new book The Romance of Libraries. See Madeleine as never seen before. THE MASS BOOK LAUNCH

Another twenty authors and illustrators will be taking EXPO by storm again this February. The Mass Book Launch is back and already fourteen authors that are a veritable whoÕs who of writers for children and young people have lined up to take part. The authors introduce to you their new titles in entertaining five- minute presentations. Enjoy the personalities behind the creations as well as their behind-the-creation stories. Picture books, middle reader age as well as young adult novels are on site for purchase and the authors and artists will again be happy to autograph them for your collection.
