TALCO is The Association of Library Consultants and Co-ordinators of Ontario
This group meets regularly, electronically through the TALCO listserver and at bi-monthly meetings at the OLA office. This professional group provides support, sharing and networking for school library leaders at the board level. Some of our projects have included: sharing, reviewing and developing resources, liaison and work with Ontario School Library Council, curriculum subject councils, teacher federations, Teaching Librarian editorial board, providing input for Ontario library initiatives and committees, advocacy for school libraries. We encourage you to join the meeting to register your board with our group and to become acquainted with those who can support you in your district library role.
