OLA Press Proposal
The Ontario Library Association invites interested authors to submit proposals for new books and manuals. Specifically, The OLAPress seeks book or manual proposals on topics of practical interest to educators, library practioners and library professionals. The more practical the better.
If your project is chosen to be published by The OLAPress you will receive royalties based on sales of the book. In addition, the OLA provides editorial, production, design, and marketing services to ensure the quality production and distribution of printed publications.
Typically the OLA will print and distribute between 1,000 and 3,000 copies. We are also interested in joint publication projects. Also, if the publication is better suited to one of our US based publishing partners we will recommend and help ensure it is published by them.

Proposals can be sent, with a cover sheet and a one-page description, proposed table of content, length, audience it is intended for, professional bio of author(s), and possible timelines to:
