Here’s how!

 2.   Gather and Document Evidence

        Samples of Student Work

What is it?

What does it look like?

This is your most powerful evidence! Nothing speaks louder.

For teacher-librarians and library programs, possible student samples may include:

  • Note making sheets
  • Completed graphic organizers
  • Works Cited list
  • Reports
  • Brochures
  • Posters
  • Multimedia presentations
  • Brainstorming sheets
  • Web pages
Evidence of 4-stages!!!

What does it tell me?

  • What skills students have mastered
  • The range of student ability
  • Where further support or re-teaching is needed
  • Whether instructional time was sufficient
  • Whether students found appropriate resources
  • Whether students followed the process taught
