What is it?	What does it look like?
A rubric is an assessment tool that that measures levels of achievement. It clearly defines the criteria for assessment and allows for individual goal setting. It can be used for self evaluation of a project and must be introduced at the beginning of the process. What does it tell me?
Which expectations (curricular and information literacy) have been achieved Where students are having difficulty Which students will need modifications Which concepts or skills may require re-teaching
