        Photo Voice

What is it?

What does it look like?

Photo Voice is used to create powerful visual evidence of student learning.  It could include video recording, digital images and photographs, or sound recordings.  Quotes from students may accompany visual evidence. Photo Voice evidence virtually captures the spirit of your program.

What does it tell me?

  • That students are engaged in the learning process
  • Where students are on-task
  • Where changes are needed
  • Student attitudes toward and perceptions of their learning
  • That students are able to reflect on their learning
  • What skills the students feel they can transfer to other learning situations
  • Impact of instructional intervention on student learning
