“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
Mahatma Gandhi
Be the Change was created by the Ontario School Library Association, and presents a wealth of resources and lesson ideas to:
- Raise awareness of children’s rights
- Create a sense of understanding of world citizenship
- Empower the youth in our society to the reality that they can and do make a difference
- Encourage students to take action
- Change attitudes so that the rights of children never go unnoticed again
| It is our vision to educate a generation of children who will see it as their responsibility to protect the human rights of all; who know that they can and do make a difference in this world.
