To
work as a team to create an exciting and fun program of events for the
Forest of Reading® readers on May 13th and 14th,
2009 at Harbourfront.
Your
role begins in early October with contacting committee members to see if
their authors are interested in doing a session at the Festival in
addition to their role in their programs celebration. If the author is, then then you
will be in touch directly with the author.
As a member of the Festival Committee you are an ambassador for
the Forest of Reading®. You will be a part of motivating school and
public libraries to get involved and excited about the Forest programs.
This is especially important as the reading is 100% voluntary and
not part of any curriculum.
