Call Me Aram is the follow-up book to Aram's Choice. In the first book, Aram and a group of orphaned Armenian boys are sent to Canada in 1923. The boys make their way across Canada to a farm in Georgetown, Ontario. They are known as the Georgetown Boys. Their story continues in Call Me Aram. In Georgetown, the fifty boys must learn what it means to be Canadian. Like all new immigrants, they face difficulties adjusting to a new way of life. Aram and the rest of the Georgetown Boys are given new names. They are homesick and confused. How will they adapt?
