Jennifer McGrath Kent grew up in Hillsborough, New Brunswick, alongside the Petitcodiac (“Chocolate”) River. She spent countless hours exploring the woods, trails and abandoned gypsum quarries in the “White Rock” hills behind her house. Jennifer is a freelance writer and author, and has taught English courses at Mount Allison University and the University of Moncton. Currently, she lives in the country just outside of Moncton, New Brunswick with her family and several pets. Jennifer loves books, music, hiking, animals, costumes, jokes, movies and--of course--chocolate.
