Stephanie Innes is the great-granddaughter of Lt. Lawrence Browning Rogers, who was featured in "A Bear in War." She lives in Tucson, Arizona where she is the medical writer for the Arizona Daily Star and an adjunct instructor of journalism at the University of Arizona. She has an Honours English degree from Huron College at the University of Western Ontario and a masters in journalism from Northwestern University. "A Bear in War" is her first book. Harry Endrulat

A writer and editor, Harry Endrulat has worked in the publishing industry for many years. After the birth of his son and daughter, Harry began creating stories for their amusement – and to keep them from running amuck (if just for a moment). He has written over two dozen books in the Max & Ruby series (based on the popular show on Treehouse TV). A Bear in War, a children’s non-fiction title co-authored with Stephanie Innes, was released in October 2008 to critical acclaim. Harry lives with his wife and kids – his creative collaborators – in a previously quiet neighbourhood in Kitchener, Ontario. |
