Cary Fagan is an award-winning children's author and adult novelist. He has won a Mr. Christie's Book Award Silver Medal ('Daughter of the Great Zandini') and a Jewish Book Award ('The Market Wedding'). 'The Fortress of Kaspar Snit,' the first book in a triology, was named a Silver Birch Award Honour Book. His other books for children include 'Thing-Thing,' 'My New Shirt,' 'Ten Old Men and a Mouse,' and 'Mr. Karp's Last Glass.' He lives in Toronto with his family.
