I was born in Victoria BC and grew up in Vancouver. I came to writing rather late in life. After raising four children and retiring from a twenty-five year career in Real Estate I turned my love of reading into a try at writing.
I published a few creative non-fiction pieces in Reader's Digest. Then I decided to try a novel.

After River, my first novel, was picked up from an agent's slush-pile, sold in ten countries and translated into six languages.
I am now finishing the final edits on my second novel.
I live in Williams Lake British Columbia.
