Born in Dublin and raised in Ottawa, Caroline Pignat now lives in Kanata, Ontario. She graduated from Ottawa University with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor of Education. Before becoming an author, she worked as a teacher, a grocery store cashier, a medical transcriptionist, a book seller, and as Santa’s elf (yes, for the real Santa). She also worked as a bank teller for six years and was only robbed at gunpoint three times.
