Description of Poster Session:
Friends of Libraries can
provide support in connecting readers to authors. Learn how they can support
staff in organizing author events; implement writer-in-residence/
writer-in-exile programs; sponsor writers' readings; tap the NFB and publishers
for assistance; and showcase Canadian authors. And finally, learn how Friends
can help organize video/DVD events promoting authors’ works.
